Dear Music Friends, Esteemed Guests, Honourable Supporters of Music,
On behalf of CISM and our gracious host, the Għaqda Każini tal-Banda, we are pleased to share this preliminary invitation to the CISM General Assembly 2027, which will take place in the vibrant and historic city of Valletta, Malta.
Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Valletta offers a unique blend of cultural heritage, Mediterranean charm and a rich musical tradition, providing an inspiring setting for discussions on the future of wind music and cultural cooperation in Europe.
This year's programme offers not only our annual assembly but also a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, reflect on current challenges and future developments in the wind music movement, and enjoy musical excellence in a welcoming international atmosphere.
We kindly invite Presidents, Board Members, Music Directors, conductors and all representatives of member organisations, as well as anyone interested in the topics addressed by the programme, to join us in Valletta. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to discussions on the future of European music, share experiences and best practices, and strengthen international cooperation within our musical community.
You are warmly invited to take part in a rich and engaging programme that includes roundtable discussions, interactive workshops, inspiring musical performances, a cultural excursion and plenty of opportunities for meaningful networking and exchange.
Further details regarding registration, accommodation and the final programme will follow in the coming months. For now, we kindly ask you to save the date and share this information within your organisation.
